The company also handles exports, imports, foreign remittances, foreign currency loans, and guarantees; and offers credit card, wealth management, trust, custodian business, safe-deposit box rental, and certification services for marketable securities. In addition, it trades in marketable securities and futures on behalf of customers; and acts as collecting and paying agent for public facilities fees, taxes, and remittances, as well as operates as a life and property insurance agency. Further, the company is involved in the retail and distribution of hardware and software products; development of system programs; outsourcing of system development; website designing; provision of e-commerce services; car rental; import and export financing; securities investment trust; and installment purchase and lease investment businesses. Additionally, it engages in sale, purchase, and leasing of real estates, etc.; general business investment; and power generation, transmission, distribution, and energy technology service business; and investment management advisory and equipment leasing activities. The company operates 90 branches in Taiwan, including 49 branches in Greater Taipei, 18 branches in Taoyuan and HsinChu, 9 branches in Taichung and Changhua, 6 branches in Chiayi and Tainan, and 8 branches in Kaohsiung and Pingtung; and 9 securities branches, as well as one overseas banking branch.
