Growin Vortex
Growin Vortex Introduction
Jan 06, 2026The foundation of Growin Vortex is the Anchored Volume Weighted Average Price (Anchored VWAP, AVWAP), represented by the deep purple baseline at the center. This line reflects the market’s "average holding cost" over the past year and serves as a vital reference for long-term positioning. Expanding outward from this baseline are multiple standard deviation bands (green lines), creating a visual "vortex" effect.
For large-cap stocks, prices typically encounter significant resistance upon reaching 2 to 2.5 standard deviations. In contrast, small-cap stocks exhibit much wider volatility, often climbing to 3 to 3.5 standard deviations before entering extreme overbought territory.
Finally, the Volume Profile on the right displays accumulated trading volume at various price levels. The Point of Control (POC)—the price with the highest volume—is marked with a red line, providing investors with a robust reference for potential support levels.
